These are two album covers made for the Swedish rap group Sörja. They wanted covers for their two new songs "Wifi" and "Siri". I hope it's not to hard to tell which cover is for which song... Ether way.
For "Siri" I made someone who is holding a phone and is talking to Siri. I used Siri's opening line "What can I help you with" and the equalizer shapes at the bottom which are things that every iPhone/Siri user has seen before to make it as easy as possible to get an idea of what the song is about. And I feel that in the modern era we live in it's easy to connect a phone asking you that question to an AI of some sort.
For "Wifi" I made a router with a clean and simple design. Since the "Siri"-cover has a certain depth to it I illustrated the router in a 3D setting so that the covers are not to different from each other. I used the same type of smooth colors as I did on "Siri" since I think that they match the clean illustration style they both have. To give the covers some more elements I made a wavy/splat pattern in low opacity from corner to corner. This filled out the empty background and connected the two covers together even more.
The third album is for a song called "Bandicoot". The design is influenced by a certain Playstation game cover...
